Your average correct answers across your last 10 ranked rounds determines your position. Complete 10 to receive a rank. Accuracy breaks ties; equal results share a rank. Practice does not affect ranking.
Ranked times-table rounds mix all tables in the chosen competition. Maths Champions mixes six skills for your parent-selected year, with one question from each skill in every six-question block. It has a separate leaderboard. Spelling Bee uses the parent-selected year’s 25-word selection, one point per correct spelling, and its own leaderboard. Choose a male or female British voice before starting. Replays and spoken meaning hints use the running minute. Capital letters and surrounding spaces do not affect marking. Premium reveals the correct spelling after a mistake; Free still plays and ranks. We do not use your microphone. You can quit an unfinished practice round without saving. Ending a ranked round early still counts, with the points earned so far. Times Table Extra uses 3 minutes and a fresh three-minute ranking window; its previous one-minute results remain in personal history. The timer continues if you switch apps or lose connection. Scores are checked by the server.
Your competition year stays locked across subjects. Lower-year subject quizzes do not enter rankings. Computer and Mobile/tablet have separate rankings. A physical keyboard belongs in Computer, including one connected to a tablet.

Your leaderboard
Your parent chooses your school year in Manage child. This sets your default learning year and leaderboard group. You can practise other years without changing that group. If your parent confirms a school-year change, all your leaderboard results start fresh and any active competition round ends. Saved learning and competition history remain subject to the usual history limits. Ten new eligible attempts are needed in each ranking category.
